Frequently Asked Questions

Where do I begin? What should I expect when I contact you?

Fill out the contact form here and schedule a 15-minute telephone consultation (free of charge). During this consultation, I’ll ask a series of questions to get a sense of what you are hoping to work on in treatment.

What is your rate, and do you accept insurance?

Beginning May 2024, my fees are:

Individual therapy (45 minutes session) - $275
Relationship/Couples therapy (55 minutes session) - $300

*For trainings and speaking engagements, please contact me for rates.

Payment is due after each session via Zelle

I am not an in-network provider with any insurance companies at this time.

Consider checking to see if you have out-of-network (OON) benefits. OON benefits can reimburse 40-80% of your fee.

If you choose to use your out-of-network benefits, I am happy to provide documentation that can be used to get a portion of the fee reimbursed. Please contact your health insurance to inquire about out-of-network benefits for behavioral health. Here are important questions to ask:

  • What are my out-of-network benefits for mental/behavioral health?

  • How much is my deductible and has it been met? (A deductible is the amount you have to pay out of pocket before your insurance can share the cost of services.)

  • Do I need a referral from an in-network provider to see an out-of-network provider?

  • What is the rate of reimbursement for the following CPT codes?

    • 90834 (45 minute individual therapy session)

    • 90847 (couples therapy)

*In accordance to the newly passed, No Surprises Act, please reference this pdf for more information.

What is your cancellation policy?

Therapy is dedicated time for you. If you are unable to keep your appointment, I ask for at least a 24-hours notice. You are responsible for the full fee of your session if you cancel without this advanced notice.

Do you prescribe medication?

I do not prescribe medication, but can help with a referral to a psychiatric provider if deemed appropriate.
